Who's fault is it?

dunno and don't really care tbh, just a bit simplistic to blame kenwright. they tried to move stadium it fell through, they've been trying for years to sell/get investment that hasn't happened. they have huge debt, banks won't fund indebted clubs like they used to so what can you do. they need to sell players to fund debt.

moyes will hang on there till fergie retires imo, and he'll get that job.

Other than Lescott in the past couple years they've nae really lost anyone that couldn't be easily replaced.

Thing is though, that isn't the point, it's the fact he hasn't been backed, the amount of money they have taken in over the time he has been here is staggering, the amount spent is the same as it's such a little amount.

isnt kenwright involved financially with the west end?

everton had some midfield a couple of years ago - neville, fellianai, atreta, pienaar and cahill.

they still have some young good players coming through so i think they'll be ok.

the job moyses has done getting that team together on a budgets is pretty amazing

Kenwright's theatre company are the largest in the west end responsible for Blood Brothers which still sells out week in week out. I've never understood Everton's debt perhaps an Everton fan would know why it is so big.

Here's and interesting qoute from Kenwright "Our debt is a big debt and a worrying debt, but it is manageable because of our performance on the field". - So what happens when you lose your best players and get relegated? Sounds like the depend on good performances.

Everton have been in the English top division since 1954 and had an average crowd of 36,000 which is 95% of Goodison Park. Read an article which blame's Kenwright for bad marketing, they only have 10 executive boxes compared to 155 at Old trafford and 28 at MK Dons. That is a big money spinner should have looked to upgrade on that. Goodison Park has staged more top-flight football games than any other ground in the United Kingdom and was the only English club ground to host a semi-final at the 1966 World Cup. It was also the first English ground to have undersoil heating and the first to have two tiers on all sides.

They have also broken club record fees 4 times since 2005.

James Beattie - 6m

Andy Johnson - 8.6m

Yakubu - 11.25m

Felaini - 15m

Total = 40.85m on four players.
