Sad to hear Steve Lovell has retired from football at the age of 30.

 

Scored some very important goals for Aberdeen and loved a goal against the huns. Personal favourite of mine was his lob against ICT which triggered wild celebrations, unfortunately can't find it on Youtube though.

Still think he should have been given a proper run alongside Miller tbh, or a consistent partnership. JC for some reason just never wanted to play him and that pissed me off.

Yeh, but he's relevant as Mackie was invariably picked by Calderwood instead of Lovell.
