How can you get everyone on a forum to close their eyes?

Ill explain it in here when i finish work. I'd be quite up for giving it a go - we'd need to get a MOD on board to act as the master of ceremonies. Bebo might be up for it...

Used to play code when I was little though.

 

2 teams, each player had a letter and you had to ctach and batter each other until they gave up their letter.

its a game where for example, 2 people out of a group of 10 people are mafia

 

the only information you have, is whether you yourself are mafia or not. you do not know which of the remaining 9 people are mafia and which are not.

 

the aim of the game is for discussion to take place, and for the group to identify and eliminate the 2 mafia.

 

it involves mind games, psychology and trying to figure people out. not really sure how it would work on a forum to be honest? played it in the pub a lot which is very entertaining.

Have played it on a poker forum, can get a bitty heated, and that was on a place where there was never an ill word, can;t imagine what it'd be like here. There though the mafia all knew each other, the game is pointless if the mafia don;t know who else is mafia.

never heard of it but youve peaked my interest...but im confused how it works on forums.

 

so me being me, ive had to go away and read up on this....and i still dont get it.

 

how do the villagers find out whom is whom. i get the day/nightphase. i get the medic. i dont know what the inspector is meant to do. and i sure as hell dont understand how this could go on for so long. even in person, surely you say im nae in the mafia....then folk decide who they guess is lying. surely if your eyes are closed, each time you enter the day phase, your just guessing. so it should take 2 mins.
