Jute
Why when Fyvie did not have to be released was one of our better players allowed to go to this tournament when the club is struggling. Link to comment

RAZOR
Grimmer has got be introduced. Brown told us at his last meeting that he was turning down trialists here there and everywhere becuase the guys he had waiting in the ranks were better, he felt.Nows the time imo to give the promotions, players are not doing their job. Patty
Why when Fyvie did not have to be released was one of our better players allowed to go to this tournament when the club is struggling. I don't think that was the case. Brown said he asked the SFA to let us keep him for the games but they refused to release him from the squad. Link to comment

"However, we have a strong squad for these games and I'm grateful to all the clubs for assisting us in providing their best young players. "I am also grateful to Craig Brown for his co-operation and support in providing Fraser Fyvie who has been an important first team player for Aberdeen this season. Link to comment

OddJob
Fits the story with Grimmer?Wondered that a while back. Problem with these lads is that you don't really want to throw them in at the deep end now as there would be so much pressure on them with the team in such a rut. Link to comment
King Street Loon
Caught playing in midnight leagues at Strikers under different name!! What a stupid laddie. Could have picked up any sort of injury doing that.Surprised nobody's mentioned it on here before. Link to comment

Fkn jokeCan see what you are saying but can also see where the club are coming from, far easier to get binned at strikers, also had heard Fyvie done it a couple of times before too. Link to comment

Just Jack
in defence of grimmer, perhaps it was the only time he could go and just have a laugh and enjoy his football. The pressure he's under at the club (eg; the great expectations on him) maybe this was his release from that? I know ive done it before and its better than him going out binge drinking?
