Bobby Connor
Anyone read his books? Not normally a big reader but his stuff is utterly absorbing. So far have read 'A Tale Etched in Blood and Hard Back Pencil' - Genuinely laugh out loud funny, couldn't put it down, and 'All Fun and Games Until Someone Loses an Eye' - not so funny but still gripping. Just started on 'The Art of Stealing' which after a couple of pages I can tell is going to be awesome. Link to comment

tutankamun
Read "A Big Boy Did it and Ran Away". At the start of the book there's a bit about Aberdeen where he totally slags it off. I think he's a weegie who lived up here for a bit. Link to comment
Bobby Connor
He did a talk at the bird's school and apparently the Head of the Primary school in 'A Tale Etched in Blood and Hard Black Pencil' is totally based on his real head master, even down to using his real name. Apparently brown bread now so no worries. Link to comment
