Big Man
If you're in a fibre optic area - go with virgin. They are hands down the best broadband provider i've ever had. Also never had a problem with my landline - they'll do you a could deal for both. If your not, then you're only credible option is BT - IMHO. Link to comment
Bobby Connor
No time to fuck about. Checked out BT, Sky and Talk Talk. Sky was marginally the best deal so went with them. Link to comment

s1dnk
I have heard you get a lot of those annoying telesales calls when on Talk Talk. I'm with BT, not the best but not the worst. Find the internet lags big time from 5pm until around 10pm. Link to comment

tightbreeks
i hate them, but sky are good, they have good technology and i've never had a problem with the service. Link to comment
Jones
They're all pretty shit to be honest. High contention, pish customer service, long contracts and a fucking nightmare to change once you're in with one of them. I don't even want to recommend one, but I suppose you may as well go with BT unless you get TV through sky. Link to comment

fifered
Unfortunately I can't get Sky where I live now, it was the best internet by far when I lived in the city. I just bought a device which turns your electric circuit in your house into one massive wired network. The difference between using that and a wireless connection is huge, basically like having your PC, Xbox etc all hardwired to your router. I'll never go back to wireless again. Link to comment
