Dandie1992
Anyone on here fancy themselves as a bit of a chef at hame? Or are you all just cairy-oot and microwave box boys? Link to comment
tup
I only eat fresh food, prepared by myself mostly. Anything pre-packed is simply shite not to mention seriously unhealthy. Link to comment
daytripping
I'm a dab hand at cooking, do a mean chow mein in the wok, fridge to plate in around 8 minutes. Link to comment
daytripping
Spag Bol is another speciality, love it but the other doesn't, means I don't have it so often. I even made a tomato and apple chutney earlier this week, the greenhouse was overflowing with toms so it was to get rid of them, have enough to last me for Months. I did think when I was cooking up the chutney that my old casual mates would have found it a hard scene to comprehend, once a leader of men on the front line, now a cook of chutney. Link to comment

tup
I'm amazing at cooking. Can you make curry from scratch amancalledbuck? You should try it, it takes forever, is frustrating as fuck, and the end product renders your hours of toil pointless, as it tastes at best reasonable without the magical MSG used by fly-as-a-bag-of-ferrets staff in Indian takeaways. Piece of piss. Loads of onions and plenty of salt, that's the secret. Link to comment

tup
I did not say I only eat mince, haggis and tatties. I'll have you know you can add neeps to that list. Link to comment
tup
I wonder why they don't use corned beef or spam or red pudding or polony in Indian takeaways, it's always beef, chicken, pork or lamb, with the odd prawn or some other pish chucked in, bit of variety wouldna go wrong, Red Pudding Tikka Masala sounds lethal. tup
Localise it, specialise in locally sourced ingredients, for instance: Deep fried Macaroon bars. Cream of Irn-Bru soup. Beef and Skullsplitter Pie. Dauphinoise clapshot. Link to comment

CrazyBullSheep
Sounds outstanding How are agas to use? Does it make a difference to stuff you cook in it? I notice a big difference it tastes a lot better and makin shit like merengues is pretty easy in the slow oven I do a pretty good slow cooked curry too which you cant really do in a normal oven. As for using them they are on all the time so no need to pre heat. only thing is you dont use the tops like a normal hob coz it loses heat quite fast so if boiling spuds you bring it to boil then chuck it in the oven to finish. Cheesecake recipe is Nigella's I think canna really mind Link to comment
looksgoodinred
i would happily sell what's left of my soul for this beauty, plus a wall oven and warming drawer. Link to comment

dervish
Never been happy at having such curly pubes. I had a question and "ghds" gave the answer. I wonder if I gave my pubes a goatee used self tanning products and that if I could win "king prick"? To be fair that's a ludicrous statement I've no idea how to fashion a goatee into pubes.
