Yum Yums

Might be a short thread but something I would like to know.

 

At Duthie park today and went into the cafe. I had a yum yum and my wife said she had never had one. She is from Edinburgh so thought a yum yum might be a local treat in Aberdeen area?

 

Anyone confirm this?

 

Also what would your treat from the baker be?

Yum Yum's are commonplace in the North East of England. They are a tasty treat for all, despite being very sickly.

I cannot bring myself to ask for a Yum Yum as it sounds as if I have no concept of talking, just making noises. I generally just point and ask for *one of those* or 3 sometimes, yum
