robbo
Keisuke Honda is redefining how to take freekicks. No longer are players taking Beckham esque inverted run ups to put stupid amounts of curve on the ball, the trend wi the modern ball now seems to be a straighter run up and hitting pendulum style with the side foot. Taking the spin off the ball makes it completely unpredictable. watch this, skip to 1 min and see the shot from behind Honda. Goes one way then rockets off the other. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNl3xK1XUis looks amazing in slow motion. can see from contact it wants to go right but somehow swerves off to the left http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kguyiypmO2s&feature=related i need to learn to do this Link to comment
Roberto Larcos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkFnHgabQLY Check this one out. The ball changes direction at least 3 times. Is that down to technique or are modern footballs just reverting to Jumbo 6 technology of being light as fck and going all over the place. Link to comment
