a don in oz
Saw him do it at the MEN Arena in Manchester in May 2011 with my bro and it was fricken incredible. So good that when I saw in June 2011 he was doing it in Brisbane in 2012 I bought a ticket for that... front area smack in front of the stage. It might be too close given how immense the show is but sod it. So got that tomorrow night. *rubbing...hands... in anticipation* I think Ollie saw him in 2011 in London. Anyone else seen or planning on seeing this ridiculous 3 calendar year world tour? Link to comment

Apart from seeing Floyd themselves in Rotterdam, this was up there with the greatest moments in the life and times of me. Here's a sample of the awsomeness Link to comment
a don in oz
Yep. Stupendous stuff. Can't wait to see it again. Believe he's going back to the USA *again* after finishing Oceania, then South America... Link to comment
Sonoftherock
One of my mates went to see it on Saturday night in Perth - said it was absolutely mind blowing! Link to comment
tightbreeks
run like hell one of the best songs ever. Link to comment
Mouse
I went to Manchester on my own last May to see him, I knew it would be good but honestly blew me away, will be in my top 5 gigs list of all time forever Link to comment
a don in oz
Just back in the door, just after midnight from the gig. Utterly brilliant again. This old codger beside me was there with his younger (maybe 30s?) son... he wasn't too sure about it all but by the end of it even he was raving about it. Totally immense. I actually think that I'm ok now with not ever having seen the Floyd.... actually who am I kidding. I'll always kick myself for missing out the Earl's Court gigs but still. Waters doing DSotM once and the Wall twice. I'm happy with that if that's all I end up getting. Link to comment

They stretch their stuff for too long in my opinion. 4 minutes a song should be a legal limit. Those cunts have 10 minute intros. Link to comment

A musical piece can be as long as the day though, and 'tis what the Floyd were the masters of. Link to comment
a don in oz
4 minutes for an "oh yeah baby I love your tits, they're great, oh no now we're broken up and I'm shagging your sister, oh yeah baby" song is fine. Floyd never really did them though. After watching (over and over) Live at Pompeii I'd have killed to see Echoes live. Link to comment
