It really does show what the league is a joke. But for me what i take from this is that the league has been made a joke by its structure, distrubion of wealth and other nefarious activities of the 2 rich clubs. I mean its all very well being impressed with the spending of Rangers during the 90s but have you all see the amount of unpaid tax they have from that period? Its also phenomenal and for me just demonstrates how despite being far richer that the rest these 2 clubs are so greedy they still cheat just to make sure they win. Same goes for the stupid SPL league with all its OF bias. Link to comment

tup
It's the greed of Celtic and Rangers, coupled with their staggering delusions of grandeur, that has brought us to this juncture. Both got far too big for their boots. They thought they were worldwide forces. Paradoxically, through their avarice they have made themselves and the league as a whole a laughing stock worldwide. This conceit culminated in the longest period of cheating in world football, planned and implemented by Glasgow Rangers, and chiefly David Murray. Murray is exempt from critique in Scottish media. Most of the cheating has gone unreported. Romanov highlights this and is derided by Rangers and Celtic supporters who are given the oxygen of publicity by masquerading as journalists, oozing drivel daily to the demon dug and can of kestrel masses. BBC Sportsound has become nothing more than a disgraceful Old Firm centric propaganda machine. Newspapers print utter shit, lies, and breathtaking cover stories regarding these multiple layered transgressions. Until this duopoly is tackled, head on, nothing will change. Link to comment

Exactly my thinking for some time. Shocking they have been allowed to get away with this and still are. Even with all the facts of Rangers cheating coming to light, you won't hear a single journalist question the trophies won during the Advocat era. Not one. As I have said before, imagine we employed these same business practices. Imagine we knocked Rangers off the top by evading 10 years of tax payments and blowing it all on expensive players. Imagine the outcry. Every journalist in the country would be baying for all trophies to be removed from us and the SFA and SPL couldn't move quick enough to do it. Instead its sweep it all under the carpet and say nothing. Never mind the debate about whether they should be allowed back in if they go into liquidation - they should be kicked out anyway for what they have done. Link to comment
Ke1t
I thought it was 680,000 and he was entitled to 68,000 which he gave to afc youth ? I was under the impression it was closer to 400k with add ons we'd never any chance of getting. Link to comment
baconman
From just skimming over that you have got to feel sorry for Hibs (well ok not really)?! They look to have made the most money outside the OF in selling players on but have used very little of that money in investing in new players. OF are miles ahead and its amazing that they havent been even more dominant than what they already are? Just shows how crap they are! Link to comment
