muttonhumper
SOS Jimmy C!!Fair point! Having said that, they may be as likely to welcome him back with open arms as we would be (MT excepted obvs ). Link to comment
Mouse
After a worthy promotion last year I'm surprised by how crap they have been back in the SPL. That said, I think they played better than Hibs against us at Pittodrie Link to comment
Ke1t
Jimmy will be back! They could do worse... I remember his Land-o-the-Giants team ripping the piss out of Paterson's lads at Pittodrie back in the day. I think Paterson was sleeping like, so he'll have missed the taunts of the 50 Pars supporters... Link to comment

adl333
Who do Dunfy FC think they are?? No cash, no fans - bottom of league with how many games to go - Oh lets sack the manager. Hiv's have finally started improving after new manager, but too late in season for this kind of stunt. Who the hell would want the job? (apart from tangoman obviously). Especially as no relegation with huns being accepted into division 3 Link to comment
jassb
Were they not in the shit last time when they brought in Jimmy? I'm sure I remember listening to an interview where they said jimmys target was to keep them up. I laughed thinking no way. And he did. Could be wrong, but that's what I seem to remember. Especially as no relegation with huns being accepted into division 3 A team that maybe wants to try and stay up. They have only won twice all season, not won at home and find themselves 4 points behind the HIV's!From the outside it looks like they have been unlucky with injuries but IMO this sacking has happened to late.At the rate they were going they would have been relegated before the split. Especially as no relegation with huns being accepted into division 3 They'll be hoping that the new manager will come in and get an immediate reaction from his players like o'neil has at Sunderland for example. Can't see it happening though Link to comment
jassb
Good luck to them. Looks like we are getting Ross County this year but I'd rather have Dunfermile next year than any west coat team. Get rid of st mirren. Link to comment
Sheeptastic
They should get JC in until the end of the season. In all seriousness, we can say who will they get better etc but fresh manager impetus from a semi respectable manager could be enough to keep them up with the state Hibs are in. Link to comment

Dunfermline are going down regardless who they get in. Link to comment
Jonty
This. Might as well go for who they think can take them up next year. Calderwood managed it last time, got them up to 4th in the league by the time he left. Link to comment

At The Border Guy
Jim Jefferies seems to be Dunfermline's choice. They've tried to get him until the end of the season, but JJ wants longer term. Assuming his salary depends on them remaining in the SPL. Link to comment
