SAFandthedons1983
Which position do we really need to address in the coming transfer window? Link to comment
K-9
More than one and wide areas both sides Link to comment
Stoney
Same as we did 12. Months ago Link to comment
RUL
GK is good, centre backs are good. Fullbacks are ropy and you can get a way with having a centre half in one of those positions but we need a natural fullback. Other than that just a paul mason esque midfielder for me and i'd be happy. Link to comment
V for Vendetta
As Stoney said really. Which is fullbacks and proper wide midfielders/wingers. Both sides. I went for LM myself. Link to comment
sheepiekev
The squad is as inbalanced as it was a year ago, albeit a bit strongerWe need at least one full back, and at least one winger, along with a striker to go alongside Vernon. If Arnason, Fyvie, Chalali, Uchechi, Magennis, Mackie, Langfield, Folly, McArdle, Mawene & Paton all go, thats about Link to comment
OddJob
Who voted for the bottom option? I'm with you V, i also went for LM, although agree with Stoney Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Winger and, to quote Katie Price, we desperately need a creative midfielder in the hole, who even knows where the hole is and what to do once he gets there. I may have paraphrased Katie there slightly. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Left back, right back, right winger and left winger. .... just anyone who can occupy a wide position on a football pitch. Link to comment
ollie1903
I think we really need cover in centre midfield, when the inevitable injuries and suspensions kick in to the 14 we have already in that position. Link to comment
Stoney
Can you imagine how many goals verno would get if we could actually give him some service. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Back up keeperFull backsWingers 5 positions in total is my guess. We very much need wide players though, players who can ping in a cross - and create something. I think we need a cunt to play in the centre midfield, we're too nice a team - we need a cunt. I worry that we wont see any wingers or fullbacks. As someone else mentioned, Craig Brown has always preferred playing central players in wide postions... a prime example was Craig Burley and Christian Dailly, who'd always be picked at wingback. I don't see it being pretty next season, but I do predict we'll be even harder to break down than we've been this season. Link to comment
Crossbow
Width, fullbacks and at least one genuine winger. We couldn't afford Messi even if we sold all the players and the ground, Link to comment
Dandyesque
A winger. But as Craig Brown is our manager, I'll plump for the more realistic option of an attacking full back. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
There isn't really just one that you could call a priority cos we need a few & still the same as we've needed for countless windows now. Maybe Clark Robertson can fill the LB roll but we still need wide midfielders (both sides) that can provide Vernon the ammunition he DESERVES & also a decent strike partner for him. Maybe a RB as well. Hopefully Brown does get rid of the dead wood that's still here, Mackie, Clangers etc. & the likes of unused Paton & then replaces them with the type of players we actually NEED Link to comment
