Mikeyboy1903
Part of the cancer that need to leave the club if we are to even move on .. We've got rid of Foster, We've almost got rid of Mackie ... Let's get rid of this imposter. http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/2701262/ Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfields heart is set on securing a new contract and a starting role at Pittodrie. The former Scotland squad player, who returned to full fitness following brain surgery last summer, will not be content with a place on the bench and will move on to play first team football. StandFree1982
Jason Brown is hardly the worlds greatest goalie, but he's a damn sight better than "clangers". Craig Browns Aberdeen legacy will be known for it's boring draws, but also for getting rid of the right players. Link to comment
Crossbow
Bye, bye loon. You're not the worst we've ever had - but truth be told your time is long up. It's a shame you could never sort out where your near post was, communicate with the back four or come sensibly for crosses. Link to comment
ollie1903
Question I have is, what's stopping him moving to the right? Link to comment
K-9
In reality if contract is offered Jamie will be all over it like a rash. Suspect he knows he won't be getting new deal and if is will be on seriously reduced terms as reserve keeper. Link to comment
a don in oz
Think he knows his time is up now and life in the lower league of england await. If that's the case he'd be happy. Biggest payday he's ever had. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
"Part of the cancer". This term really makes me cringe. Langfield was a sound keeper 95% of the time, on the bench for Scotland quite a few times so certainly was nowhere near the worst in the league. Will mainly be remembered for his bottle in semi finals and against dundee united... and especially semi finals AGAINST dundee united!! Would be happy if he stayed on a reduced terms contract as 2nd choice. Link to comment

It's not worth the risk having someone so capable of making mistakes that even his own team mates call him "clangers". Link to comment
The Boofon
Falkirk. That'll do. It's far enough away. He's a dick anyway so he'll fit in well with the Falkirk manager. (Tommo1903) Link to comment
vanderark14
Ross County, Dundee, Falkirk, Livingston - take your pick. Any team that isn't Aberdeen is good enough for me. Rangers NEWCO 2012 Link to comment

Dandyesque
I wonder if we'll see him feature before the end of the season? Wouldn't mind if he stayed as number 2 though- decent SPL keeper Link to comment
Ke1t
One of the last cancer cells at the club, if rumours are to be believed. Song for you, Jamie... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqnmm698qlU Link to comment

Walt Flanagan's Dog
In the Bayern Munich away game, although every man and his dog expected us to lose, he shat the bed and was at fault for 2 or 3 of the goals. 2 went in right over his head. I hope things work out for him, he's certainly seems to have grown up a bit since the fallout with Calderwood on his stag night, but I don't want to see him at the club much longer. Link to comment

DD1903
I posted several months back that a deal could be done with Dunfermline(surely first division bound)...with Mackie and Langfield going as a straight swap for Paul Gallagher...Gallagher first choice with Broon as back-up...would probably save around Link to comment
