Anyone on here who has 'panic bought' is an idiot and its you that is causing the problem. Do you realise the strikers give 7 days notice and the next talks aren't even taking place til the weekend AT THE EARLIEST.

What the government were playing at yesterday no one knows. Extra pennies in the bank before the end of the tax year??

Clever move to detrct from the budget.

Morons are buying fuel today and will need to re-fuel come an actual strike day.

It's just a way of the government to get more public opinion against the unions.

sure was... that and it made the cash for dinner at no10 scandal (which he should actually resign for IMO) disappear to page 10.

backfired on them this time though, even the most Tory cunt of papers are saying they got it wrong.

All part of the ineptness of Cameron and co. Quicker the referendum/general election comes round the better.

Funny you should mention that, on BBC Breakfast today, the Minister For Energy got torn a new one by the presenter, conversation went a bit like this:

Presenter: So, who is at fault for the crisis at the country's pumps?

Minister: RARG EVIL TRADE UNIONS, LOONY LEFTIES, ETC, ETC

Presenter: I think you'll find that it wasn't the unions that went out yesterday and told everyone to fill up jerrycans, and top up their fuel tanks, wasn't it?

Minister: ah....er......uh..... (shocked realisation on the minister's coupon as he realises that he's been owned by BBC News)

Viewers round the country- :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:

heard a brilliant conspiracy theory earlier today.

were coming to the end of a financial quarter and uk spending was down from projected figures. so somebody in power mentions "possible fuel strikes" and the key phrase which is guaranteed to do the opposite - "dont panic".

as soon as people heard dont panic, they went out and spent hundreds of thousands on fuel that wasnt really needed but will have likely put actual spending closer to the projections.

ive got maybe 1/5 of my tank left so i was planning on topping up soon but all the bastard pump near me are empty. see if i have to get the fucking bus to work till i can get petrol...heads will roll

Apparently some woman in Yorkshire has got burned as she was transferring fuel to an open container in her kitchen. With the gas switched on.

Now you have a Labour MP tweeting that Francis Maude should resign over it, as if he is responsible for a members of the publics stupidity.

Christ...

Someone somewhere has been cut and seriously injured themselves using a knife, does that mean that Jamie Oliver / any other chef should resign because they mentioned using a sharp knife to cut stuff with?

It's natural selection. Natures way of cutting out the weak from the strong. If you are stupid enough to get 40% burns from decanting fuel in your KITCHEN with the GAS ON....you probably shouldn't be allowed to breed.

She was tragically slow as she was doing it for her daughter - can't win the darwin award as already bred (and still alive).
