boboisared
His years at Wigan will have made him comfortable for life (and landed him a medal). I don't think he will have any regrets, even if his career was to end tomorrowDepends if he looked after his cash though! Link to comment
TheRock
Is there more to the Fyvie to Cove story? I get he's not lived up to his youthful potential but to drop out of professional football altogether is still a huge surprise. No idea the level he is now to be fair. Last time I watched him was the Hibs semi when he got taken off in the first half. He was terrible that day. Just read he's already been allowed to leave Dundee United but they've still got the small matter of the play offs. Is he injured or something? All a bit strange Link to comment
Ke1t
From Utd team captain to oot the door? That is a weird one. Liked Fyvie, he'd a bit of dig in the middle. Cheap squad option? Link to comment

Ke1t
Chip shop worker option If he's nae good enough for the caravan dwellers then Cove probably is his level Well, I suppose it would depend on the reasons he's leaving Utd. Is it because he's pish, in which case making him captain would seem an odd choice, or is it because he wants to move back up the road, or because Utd is trying to save money, or because there's been a falling out, or has the injury from a couple of seasons back made full time fitba untenable? I kinda think the reason probably isn't that he's suddenly turned into a Highland League quality player overnight. Link to comment

Ke1t
Speaking of Fyvie, this is the kind of "Fuck that guy" attitude AFC needs. No turning away or backing down from some filthy Hun trying to intimidate, in fact having to get dragged away from the cunts before he kills one. Magnificent challenge. Terrific attitude. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vObiSaF7gaM Link to comment

Torry Tosser
Fair play to Hector for playing the game but no way should clubs be allowed to just bank talent like that. The only time half of these cunts will ever set foot in Stamford Bridge and the Etihad is to sign their contract.Hadn't Chelsea got 30 out on loan at one time, from all levels at club.crazy. Reliablesource
45 players out on loan is obscene really. What are they thinking?Just business isn't it? Shitey used car dealer type business, in that the more you put out the more profit you will make. Always percentage based, you know that a lot of cars will end up back at auction or scrapped but fuck it. Or hedge funding start ups. You back a hundred companies and you aim for a success rate of say 1 in 10. When one goes to market you wipe a whole load of shite off the portfolio and top up with more. Keep doing it and you will make a lot of money. Link to comment
