muttonhumper
In an interview on the club’s website, Ellon-native Ross noted the differences between the Scottish and Dutch club games, saying: “In the Netherlands, a neat structure and good organisation form the basis. It’s a type of game that I prefer. “In Scotland, the long ball is regularly used and it often happened that I only saw the ball constantly flying over me. That could be frustrating at times. LOL Fair play to the lad, can understand his frustration as its horrendous to watch as a fan so could only imagine what it's like playing in a team that play like that. The crazy thing is I just cant get why we play that way especially as with the exception of Cosgrove and our centre halfs we dont have a tall team so need to play the ball on the deck. Its nae that difficult really Link to comment
