King Street Loon
So our two main strikers, who are both on the pitch together fairly often, don't bother to try and work up an understanding of each other's movement, where they like the ball, which foot etc in training? Riiiight! Not that they are on the pitch together for long.If they are working on it, they're making a fucking mess of it. Link to comment

paddy
McArdle was fine, but wasn't he always played a RB when his most natural position was in the centre? Not like AFC to play folk out of positions... Link to comment
RAZOR
What a bounce when he scored in what seemed like the 10000th minute down at St.Mirren as well Link to comment

BWG
Gads. It's amazing how less shite shite players become with time.100% serious min. Maybe not the McArdle right now given he's about 87, but the McArdle we had I would take over O'Connor. Was he good? Not particularly but he was better than that utter fraud and total shitebag O'Connor. Link to comment

dazzy_deff
Always thought McArdle was a decent centre back but looked shite playing at full back. Im glad weve stopped doing that with our centre halves... Link to comment

aberdeen1970
McArdle and O'Connor are much of a muchness. Both should have been squad players at best. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Not having that Oconnor is a markedly better footballerNae sure about that. McArdle was in a dreadful team and I'd suggest he would look better in the current team with better players to hide some of his deficiencies. Equally I think if you put O'Connor in the team McArdle was in it would expose his weaknesses even further. McArdle is currently one of the better defenders in league 2 in England. Do we really think O'Connor could perform consistently well at a higher level than that? Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Did McArdle play in the Richie Byrne era? I have particularly fearful memories of us at away at whatever they call Brockville nowadays. 3-0 maybe? Shockingly pish. Link to comment
