V for Vendetta
His contract isn't up yet anyway so plenty of time to build up the team and convince him to extend. Of yes, when I say build up the team that may be the problem... Link to comment
baconman
The loon is only 18. I am sure Grimmer has been letting his old team mates know what its like at Fulham. Nothing wrong with having aspirations but Robertson is probably wise staying put until hes about 20-21. He will find it a lot easier moving away from family and friends being older. If he wants to go now good luck to him but like Grimmer I think its too early. Link to comment

Virgin Don
Arnason said same last week haha Got told last night that the offer for Arnason no longer available as we have used his funds for other signings... Obviously Hughes and Rae. Also there will be 4 New signings next season... Link to comment

Strange. I would view that as a good thing. AFC would normally hang on in the hope he'd re-sign until about August, run out of time and money then sign some total no-mark. This is a much better way of doing things. Link to comment

Yep if they were bringing in better players then I would agree with your post but on the yesterdays performance Gavin Rae will not be a good replacement he is far too slow... He did say that Robertson will be our LB next season and we have cover in Considine.... But we will be looking for a RB as Mcardle is a CB and not the answer. Link to comment
dj_bollocks
The words "creative flair" are never going to be associated with a Brown signing... He'd more than likely sign Ric Flair... Yesterday was his 2nd black mark - losing the semi and he can fuck off as far as I'm concerned... Link to comment

DieHardDandy
Arnason's a decent midfielder in a poor Dons team. I'm glad we'll not break the bank for lads like that. Robbo by contrast is a young lad who is improving and we should be able to keep hold of him and pay him a decent wage. Robbo seems to be coming along well as a player. But we've really got to be careful we don't fill his head that he's a world-beater though - in my view that's why Maguire decided he was better than the Dons and it's also the reason why Fyvie thinks he's the bees knees despite having played pretty poorly on the whole over the last couple of years (admittedly the lady's had bad injuries too though). Overall, I'm very happy to see the club tell a journeyman like Arnason that we won't be held to ransom. At his last club, he fell out of the Iceland squad and didn't get paid the big wages he was on. With us, he earns less but he gets paid in full on time and he's also back in the Iceland team. If money's all he's after then I'll pay his bus fare out of Aberdeen. Like Jack, Robbo is exactly the type of lad we should support and build our team around. Link to comment

rossafc92
Still don't think Robertson is ready for the first team. He's been good on some occasions since he replaced Ricky Foster, but the lad Humphrey at Motherwell was ripping him a new one when he came on in the cup game and Robertson struggled against him the week after as well. I'd hope Craig Brown would be looking to bring in a more senior left back in the summer, however judging by his and Willie Miller's comments at the roadshow on Saturday night, Robertson will remain in the first team next season. wilm1542
Good to see Robertson get a call up to the U21 set up. Good experience for him and a good future prospect seeing as he's still only 18. Seems to be happy at the club and i swear there were rumours a few weeks back he was being offered at least a 1 year contract extension. Link to comment
The Highland Don
Delighted for him, he's improved a fair bitty since last season that I've noticed in the games I've seen him play. Isn't afraid to bomb forward and isn't afraid to get stuck in. Congrats to him, it's nice to see his good form being recognised. Link to comment
