Dreams

There was once where I dreamt about the mum in Home Improvement, we were exchanging pleasantries and Tool Time Tim Allen came in and said "Huh".

:hysterical: That's brilliant! I used to be quite good at doing that... The "Huh" thing, not the pleasantries thing, I'm still good at that :sheepdance:

I dreamt that I smashed my recently replaced glass screen on my laptop. :poster_oops:

It was a very difficult word to type. I went with Huh, I'm glad you got it :applause:

Is your laptop now ok? I should have done my thesis on the relationship between dreams and reality, instead of whatever the fuck it is im doing it on now.

I used to have a recurring dream. I would be riding a penny-farthing, then the front wheel would just disappear and I would wake up with that weird jumping sensation.

The front wheel on a penny farthing is the big one. I don't think I could ride a penny farthing, it doesn't have stunt pegs.

My laptop is perfect now! Can't see why I'd subconsciously want to undo my manly handywork. The brain is a mysterious thing!

That actually happened to a mate of mine, just it wasn't a penny farthing and it wasn't a dream.

Unless I relay the dream to someone else or it is particularly significant then I seem to forget them pretty quickly.

I am told you should write them down when you wake up, so maybe we should make this the Dream Thread?

My last memorable dream was a few weeks ago and included a Panda that spread blue ink everywhere.

I used to smoke far too much weed to remember my dreams.

When I came off it I had some real vivid ones though. The one that stands out is one that I was being chased round Westhill by zombies and hid in the trees in the industrial estate next to Stuart Milne's. Had to save the relics though so nicked a Mitsubishi Pajero and went and found them. We all then retreated to a house and the last I remember is smashing the shit out of zombies in a back garden. Took me a week to realise in the dream I was actually in my old house in Westhill and it was exactly as it was 20 odd years ago. Couldnt remember much about that place at all until I had that dream.

Funny how the unconscious mind works sometimes.

I hate when you wake up in the middle of a really good dream. Only once when having a good dream when I woke up, I managed to go back to sleep and the dream continued :thumbup1:

I remember heaps of dreams I've had over the years. Like one when I was first into the Might Ducks films, a frozen patch of ice was outside my house and the Might Ducks kids were telling me to come out and have a game with them. I spent what seemed like an hour looking for some ice skates in my house and couldn't, but they said they'd wait. Then when I finally did find the ice skates, I looked outside again and they had gone :(

I think the earliest dream I remember must have been when I was 6 or something. I was on a trike pedal tractor thing, somehow on a tiny pier, with a little bridge overpass looking type of thing, but that was made out of cardboard boxes. When I pedalled up to the water and turned around, the bloody Hamburglar was there in the cardboard box walkway thing looking through one that had bars like a prison :itch-chin:

A weird one was our old house where just a pair of kid's legs were walking around...

I had a most bizzare experience with the ex wife once. We were watching a program about some Japanese guy who killed and ate his gay lover. So after that we hop of to bed. So all I remember is having this dream about trying to bite a lemon that was bobbing about in a barrel of water. The next thing I'm woken by a scream from the ex. Id bit her on the tit!

True story,and fucking weird....

I don't normally remember dreams but the other night I dreamed that the world was about to end due to some alien invasion which somehow resulted in a massive tsunami which was going to wipe out everything. It was a really nice day so I washed my car and push bike (weird as I haven't been on it for years) then put them back in the garage so they'd be ok. I then went down to the local pub to meet my family before the tsunami came, I woke up just as everyone was being wiped out.

My dreams last night went from being quite exciting to incredibly boring.

I was ferrying a salesman round initially. Turned out he was staying in a sex hotel in Stromness, so I had a look round this hotel. I then found myself back in my local pub organising a darts tournament.

I used to have a recurring dream as a child that involved 4 men coming into my bedroom, never revealing their faces, and each taking a limb and then chucking me in the harbour. I would waken up every time as I was sinking in the water. Weird.

Not the way I thought that was going to go but ho hum.

I had a dream that I was in a Ma Cammerons style pub in Munich watching us play Bayern on the telly. Daft idea going and nae getting to go to the game.
