bonzodaddy73
Went down to the car boot sale at ICT's ground earlier on. They hold one most Sundays. Well it wasn't that busy and the kids were buying every dvd they could find when I spotted something. This young couple were selling heaps of designer clothes they deemed not cool anymore. So I open up this shoe box and there's a pair of Kurt Gieger boots. They had never been worn, stickers still on the bottom and the tread didn't have a scratch. So I asked the bird how much. They cost me Link to comment

bonzodaddy73
Ive bought a heap of Thomas the tank engine toys over the years. The wee fella was daft on him. Never paid more than a quid per engine. Now he's grown out of it they are gonna get punted on eBay. I will get anywhere from a fiver to thirty quid for each of them. He's got 116 altogether. Kerching!!! Link to comment
Henry
I've never got a bargin at a car boot sale. In fact I've never got a bargin anywhere! Can you tell me more about these elusive items bonzo? Link to comment
bonzodaddy73
Thomas engines are a money maker Harcus. The die cast metal ones, not the cheap plastic shit. Also Star Wars figures and vehicles are good too. Just head straight to the cars with heaps of toys. Hopefully its pissing rain too, because they are that desperate to go home they sell their gear for next to nothing.Go on eBay and check the prices for these items. It's easy money. Link to comment
Robbie Winters
I have had a few bargains at Thainstone but I cannot tell you what as it jeapordizes my chance for futher opportunities to laugh at my luck.I used to think of them as scavenging but if somebody has something to sell there is always someone to buy, some folk will buy any old shite if the price is right. Some folk are also their selling stuff to raise money for charity so commendable.I also like watching the faces of sellars as in how our Eastern European and African friends have very good "bargaining skills" wheras we are more likey to pay the asking price. Noticed a few more folk at Thainstone selling more collectors stuff and not just the contents of the loft Link to comment
