Actually in my experience this town is pretty much 50/50 between the Edinburgh teams. There's definitely a Mussie Hibs coach, I've seen them coming back from away games plenty of times, usually with their faces tripping them!

 

Don't worry, I have already made plans to escape the splicing for a few hours and catch the game. Another lad who'll be there is a Hibee and the pair of us have arranged to watch the game in Cupar. So if you hear of violent disturbances in Fife in the early afternoon, that'll probably be us...

 

As for the wedding party themselves, they are pretty much a non-footballing bunch. By my reckoning this slightly increases our chances of being able to slip away incognito for a while to be able to watch the semi, as no-one else will have much of a clue that it's happening.

 

Now the big question; can I pull off a very cheeky doubler and get the semi AND the Grand National...?
