J4MRU
Do any of you know of any places in Aberdeen that can reflow electronic / computer equipment? I need a wee repair done to a laptop I'm going to be rebuilding so my wife can use it for a business venture she is embarking on. She needs a decent laptop as she requires to run photoshop and other software like that, so repair has to be pretty sound until it proves viable to buy a better one. Whoever does it needs to have one of those reflow stations which look similar to this..... My link Link to comment

J4MRU
Yeah he doesn't see keen to do it as I have already taken the laptop to bits, won't do the job as he doesn't know if I have damaged anything. I just wanted the reflow done even untested. Just wanted to give it a bash. Why is there not more people that can do this?? Bit frustrating! Link to comment

Doesn't seem to be something that requires a massively high spec computer and you can pick up a laptop for next to nothing these days. Link to comment
J4MRU
No your right, the one she has is a piece of shit and you need a knife to open it! I had this nice wee laptop that needed a bit of a repair and was hoping to save myself a couple hundred quid by getting it fixed, but that dream is slowly slipping away. Link to comment
