its that time of the year again when the split is about to begin, if your in the bottom 6 and are not going to get relegated it is pointless. boring for the players and the supporters. if play offs were introduced, fair enough more teams would not like this idea as they would still have to care, but i believe it would make the SPL a BIT more exciting than what it is currently. and you would think it could generate a larger amount of income through gates and possibly tv money. obviously this would start to make most of the bottom 6 soil their pants due to the fact it is by no means job done for the season but it would make the end more fascinating both for spl and 1st division teams.

if there were play offs there would be yet more fear from teams and managers who would see a 0-0 draw as a good result throughout the season.

 

Need to remove 0-0 score lines from point scoring, 1 pt for scoring any amounty of goals and 2pts for a win

 

3-0 = 3 pts to winner no point to loser

3-1 = 3 pts to winner one point to loser

1-1 = 1 pt each

0-0 = no points to either team

 

Encourage attacking football and punish defensive is the best way to make football exciting again

I'd like Play Offs back in.

 

No team should get off lightly for finishing 11th, including ourselves.

 

Would be good for the game.

 

I remember absolutely shitting myself for the Dunfermline play-off back in '95 though

 

Looking back that was such a massive victory for us.
