a don in oz
You're building a reputation, doing well at a smaller club. You're about to get to show how you can do - with players you know - on the big stage.... Why the hell would you jump ship from a fishing boat that's rising in the water to a liner that is sinking? a don in oz
I think it'd take that. Someone get him a horse in case he doesn't have one. Link to comment
sheepiekev
Sadly, it wont happen just now.We cant afford to pay off Brown and I'm guessing that Ross County would be entitled to compensation as well.Maybe this time next year. We are stuck with the old duffer, his usual post match platitudes and long ball shite for another year. We are improving though according to a few deluded idiots on here though. To those deluded idiots, in case you hadn't noticed, we are floundering in the bottom 6 again, and have just lost to an appallingly bad Hibs team in a semi finalI'm out for the season - that has sickened me, just as much as the QotS semi. Ke1t
If I were Adams I'd hold out for an offer from a proper football club, and not grab the first offer that came along from, for example, a club where there's a culture of failure and a history of destroying managerial reputation. An ambitious, talented manager will more likely join a club on the up rather than one on the decline. I'd expect Aberdeen's next manager to be like a Jim Jeffries or a Yogi Hughes. Link to comment

Kelt, Adams is an intelligent man.He knows if he does well next season he could end up at a decent sized English club in the Championship or top of league 1. Link to comment
centraldon
Adams went to hibs as assistant not too long ago. Manager of Aberdeen isn't too much of a stretch of the imagination. I wouldn't. But then if I was brown I'd have stayed at Motherwell. Link to comment
