OddJob
With the exception of the Coca Cola Cup win in '95 why exactly have our team been bottling big games for so long? What is the real reason behind this? Is it bad man-management? Lack of effort from the players? A losers mentality within the club? Or all of these things? Any club can lose important matches, that is to be expected, however when it gets to this sort of stage when it's constantly happening there has to be answers from the powers that be and address this problem. It's happened too much this and it's annoying and also downright embarrassing too. Link to comment

True_Don
Could be any number of problems. Is the mentality inherent now at our club? I think not, but certainly the pressure if building and all the players on Saturday would have been aware of our previous failures, our previous prestigious history and the fact that the fans and the club were reliant on them to deliver us some form of success in a poor season. If he had a few wide players at the club and more attacking mentality, this question would not need to be answered. I think poor management of the club has led to poor teams and players not able to handle essentially the 3rd largest club in Scotland. I think had we got to the final, the players would have felt no pressure because they would have been glad to get the semi final monkey of our backs - this was a real opportunity to win a trophy. StandFree1982
Lack of creativity. We'd have won that game if we had a couple of players who were good enough to take a man on and whip a ball into the box. Link to comment

tup
I think the club needs to want to break free from all their lies, they're so self-satisfied, I don't need them. Link to comment

But this season it has been highlighted time and time again that we lack a creative spark and the Semi showed that fact ten fold. There is always next year Link to comment
