Another Helicopter Incident?

I've been hearing there was another Bond helicopter incident this evening. Apparently the chopper lost power and nosed dived towards the sea before making a landing on one engine. Everyone OK.

The gate beside the flying club is right beside the airport fire station, police/ambulance etc are there frequently for any kind of aircraft alert - that's standard procedure. Could be nothing to do with the helicopter operator.

 

As for the incident mentioned by the OP I've not heard anything, but these things are more than capable of flying and landing on one engine. There's a lot of scare mongering in the north east about helicopter travel, which is a pity because it affects so many people. The P&J are the worst offenders with their sensationalist take on even the most minor incident.

 

Bond, Bristow, Chc, they are the most professional helicopter operators on the planet. Trust me, I know.

Sppke to a guy i know who was on the outbound flight. He said the chopper had engine failure and was dropping. They managed to restart an engine just before the water. Nothing in the news about it. Obviously keeping quiet, as that would probably finish Bond off. Shocking
