When was the last time we had a total bastard in our team? Not just a Kick-Yer-Granny-to-win type of bloke but a proper horrible human being who'll play for the shirt and scare the shit out of the other players so they'll man up on the pitch. That's what we need.

You reckon? Great guy to have around when he was here as a player (and what I wouldn't give to have a player like that here NOW!) but does his record at Chesterfield as a Manager justify that shout? Saying that, things can't get any worse...

I think that's absolute drivel, the type of guy you're talking about there is a Tommy Wright character, exactly what AFC doesn't need when there's already solid pro's like Osbourne, Arnason and Anderson in there.

 

we dont need cunts we need good footballers, i think we are a bit more physical than we were previously so the lack of cuntage isnt quite so glaring

 

Spot on, what Aberdeen need is a player(s) with creativity and skill, Milsom have been badly missed, it was guys like Skacel and Griffiths who were the difference in the Scottish Cup semis, guys with ability and passion for their club.

If he can figure out that you play a central midfielder in midfield. a defender in defence, and if you're short on width you sign a wide player NOT another central midfielder or a forward, then he'd be fine.

 

Having said that, I actually reckon Hartley to be our best and most realistic next option.

Has always impressed me with the way he conducts himself.

 

Fierce fucker on the pitch, walked away when he felt he couldn't do a job for AFC rather than steal a wage, stood up to popular mentalist Romanov, has an Alloa team that knows how to play football, stands on the edge of the technical area for roughly 90 minutes rather than slumped in his seat like AFC managers tend to do, and is unlikely to stand for any shit from within or without the club he works for.

 

And, most importantly, he's a man that wants to WIN stuff.

The OP is just showing what is wrong with the Scottish game.

Some folk would rather have "cunts" than footballers in our team....in a season where the entertainment has been virtually nil and we are one of the lowest scorers in the SPL.

Personally, the priority this summer is to sign a good winger who can create chances and a good strike partner for Vernon. No "cunts" please!

Maybe a shout, strikes me as a guy who has high standards and sticks to them.

 

As for a cunt, dunno about dirty players. But if i had to think of someone we've got who's a bit of a unit, putting on my tin hat, I'll bet magennis if he wanted could do some damage.

If AFC are looking to take a manager who would put his heart and soul into the job...Lee would be the man to do it...and yes Ollie...It would be Marvelous!

I would put my heart and soul into it. Doesn't mean I'd be in with a shout.

What credentials does Lee Richardson have that merits having the potential to be AFC manager?
