tup
no he's just looking for attention so he wants to derail the thread in to another tup show he's a miserable fucker Wrong. I genuinely don't look back. I think these things are best left where they belong. In the past. Celtic have form for wallowing in nostalgia. The only thing we can learn from looking back at Gothenburg is the obvious value of having an all Scottish team who fight for the jersey. Link to comment

What's the point in winning things if you can't look back and say," that was good"? Link to comment
tup
What's the point in winning things if you can't look back and say," that was good"? You must always have the hunger to win more. We don't have that right now, which makes looking back all the more painful. Winning teams do not rest on their laurels. We used to be a winning team, but now we seem happy to accept mediocrity. We need another Fergie. Link to comment

If I had the money I'd force them out. The joke of it is you wouldn't even need as much money as Milne has, the prick. Link to comment
tup
It's not really about money, it's about hunger and determination, something sorely lacking at any level of our club. They're in a highly overpaid comfort zone and are living off the fat of our previous success. Link to comment

Once your foots in the door it's all about your attitude and approach to things. It's the SPL ffs. How can we be such a shambolic mess in such a shite league!!! Heads should roll. Link to comment

tup
This thread got fairly depressing quickly It's simply a reflection of the club at present. Comparing and contrasting it with the team of '83 is the nadir of depressing thought. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
Awa' min. I'm nae wanting a benefit match or a parade down Union Street, it's just a thread on a Football Forum. Let those who want to reflect do just that  Link to comment

Winning teams do not rest on their laurels. We used to be a winning team, but now we seem happy to accept mediocrity. We need another Fergie. If we had Shankly, Busby and Fergie rolled into one it could never happen again. If we ever have a team that remotely resembles the CWC team the majority would just fuck off to Englandshire chasing the coin. Football has changed so dramatically since those days it's very, very sad that a team full of Scottish players will never reach those heights again. Therefore it is right that we celebrate it, we shouldn't forget what is beautiful about the beautiful game. Link to comment
