Chappit Neeps
So, Ze Gurmans lose a penalty shoot-out and Mr Blatter has now 'tasked' Beckenbauer with coming up with another way of getting an outcome. Thoughts? Were the budweiser adverts before their time, will he suggest added time multi-ball? I see the Huddersfield v Blades game went to the keepers, one of which spooned it into row z, now being a keeper myself I think it's harsh, how often do 'we' practise them, i only ever do if I'm coaching the young keepers and he needs put in his place!! They canna take awa pens, can they? Link to comment

If anyone has been sent off then a sub is nominated. I get what you say about goalies but most outfield players probably don't practice them much either. Also means the keeper can be the villian instead of this bollocks they come out with that he has " nothing to lose" Also it'd make pens a team affair. I think it's a great idea. Link to comment
chaos_defrost
Have missed a deciding pen in a cup game and was very close to greeting but no way should they do away with pens. If I'm neutral and watching a game that's in extra time I always want it to go to pens. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
I hate pens in a final. Pish way to decide the overall winner. British Bulldog along the width of the pitch is the future. Link to comment
