muttondressedaslamb
Predictions? 3-0 CESM. Was thinking of having an online flutter with this one. Any tips? Link to comment

Big Man
MDAL can you please change the title of the thread - my next door neighbours friends brother is French, i find it insulting and completely inaccurate... Only kidding: 2-0 the frogs, Benzema to bang in at least one [benzema to score first and France to go on and win = 7/1] Link to comment
Sonoftherock
0-0 I think this. It'll be a cagey first match. England will be hard to break down under Hodgson and the same could probably be said for France under Blanc. Both teams will be desperate to avoid defeat in the first match, as they'll fancy their chances of beating Sweden and Ukraine. Link to comment
redsector
Hopefully England to win. I shall have my top on today. Link to comment
Coopy100
it will be 1-0 either way. As has been said Hodgson will make England hard to beat and can see them sneaking a 1-0 like the huns in europe. On the flip side I can see the frogs pinning the guffs back for much of the game and maybe sneaking a goal. It will be an excellent tactical battle though so will be a good game. Link to comment

minijc
6/5 for England, draw no bet, very good price. Link to comment
E-P-K
Guffs 3.5 on betfair. Usually we have had it rammed down our throats that England are gonna win the tournament, for them to self implode, this year there is none of this, which may just benefit England as expectations are low. Saying that, a win tonight and normal service will be resumed, Link to comment

Bluto10
wellbeck apparently starting tonight.England (probable) : Hart, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Cole, Milner, Gerrard, Parker, Downing, Welbeck, Young. quite bold from england there but it'll probably benefit them now that they seem to have moved on from the likes of defoe crouch etc. the weakest area i personally think for england is midfield. why they dont have adam johnson in i'll never know. We will probably hear Roberto laughing his head off at the thought of Downing and Wellbeck starting for the guffs Link to comment

Crossbow
John Terry no longer an asset - I think that Hodgson will try and stiffle the game - if the French midfield can remain mobile they'll have too much for the English defence but lookout for breakaway goals too. Link to comment
bonzodaddy73
France -1 goal 9/2 I fancy. Had the Russians -1 on Fri @ 16/5 Kerching!!! Link to comment
OddJob
Would love another repeat of 2004 when the Guffs thought they had the match won and then up pops Zizou with a fantastic late double but this time it's Evra instead (Cause i've got him in my dream team ) Link to comment

The Oxford Don
Saw France in their final warm-up game last week and they looked ominously good, in fact I'm toying with doing a cheeky one on them winning the whole tourney at what are still decent odds. 2-0 to les bleus tonight, relatively comfortable win.
