I've renewed.

I totally understand those holding off. I just really wanted to keep my particular seat so didn't want to risk losing it upon general release

If it does turn out that the board don't do the right thing it will curtail my contributions to the club markedly though.

So I guess I've given the board the innocent until proven guilty hope

I would have thought that you, more than anyone else on this board would realise that the club are simply ripping you off. :tumbleweed:

2 people out of 18 votes...oh dear.

I'm genuinely surprised... truth be told I figured most season ticket holders would have renewed, regardless of the Newco situation.

Has Aberdeen released any details on how sales are going so far?

If this poll, tiny and unscientific as it is, is any sort of indication then I could see even a club as gutless, spineless, weak, despicable, and repulsive as Stewart Milne's Aberdeen having second thoughts over it's desperation to re-admit Hunco into the SPL.

Aberdeen don't tend to announce ST sale numbers - although if I'm being cynical, which I am, you'd think if it was a high number they would.

Taking any newco situation out of the equation, the reason I have for not buying one is the god awful football I would have to endure. Craig Browns style does not float my boat. Zzzzzz.

You're not thrilled by the prospect of watching third rate footballers hold on to a 0-1 deficit at home to St Mirren, while an antiquated manager convinces himself that, despite the ball being picked out of the net by whatever substandard goalkeeper we're fielding that day, we haven't had a save to make?

If I didn't have better things to do with my money, like wipe my arse with it or burn it, I'd be buying myself TWO season tickets for Pittodrie right quick!

...but not really.

Broon, Milne, Hunco, 9th place finish for a 4th year... I'm sure all these things are contributing to people preferring to do fun shit, rather than go watch Aberdeen.

I wonder if Stewart Milne's Aberdeen even remembers that what they're supposed to be doing is, in fact, entertaining?

Will not buy until "Stellar Signing" unveiled !!

Truth be told I have not bought one since 08/09 as was picking my games although more or less went to 95% last season. Regardless of Hun scenario going to most home games is now deeply frustrating and a waste of a good part of my weekend but I do like an away trip for the social side.

Taking the Hun into consideration I pretty much think that I would not attend at all if they go unpunished and walk straight back in.

I have a question with regards to season tickets, will contact the ticket office but thought I would check here first.

My dad is disabled, has MS, and I was considering getting him a season ticket with me next year, providing the Huns get what they deserve.

Would my dad be eligible for a concession or do I have to pay full price?

Sorry, don't know the answer to the above question.

Aberdeen could actually make some decent money from the demise of the huns & them voting against them in the SPL.

Nobody really knows if the TV monies will collapse cos it's all just been media scare mongering that we've been fed by OF lovers.

Take me for example I normally buy the offshore season ticket but didn't last season & probably wouldn't be renewing for next season unless some major improvements & ambitions were noticeable

BUT for next season (if Aberdeen openly admit to voting against the new team entering) I will buy a full season ticket. I will also buy all the strips again & continue with my red lotto subscription.

I'm sure some others would return if Aberdeen make the correct decision on this & we could see some higher season ticket numbers than in the last 5 or 6 years imo.

Even the 5000 huns the club miss out on in the one (possibly two) home game against them would be reasonably well replaced by a couple of thousand traveling Dundee minksn :dontknow:

The flip side of this vote is that the loss to Aberdeen for voting yes could & in fact would be staggering. I for one would not put another single penny towards the club or the SPL for that matter.
