NorthernLights24
Portugal: Rui Patricio, Coentrao, Pepe, Bruno Alves, Pereira, Moutinho, Veloso, Meireles, Ronaldo, Nani, Postiga. Holland: Stekelenburg, vd Wiel, Vlaar, Mathijsen, Willems, De Jong, vd Vaart, Sneijder, van Persie, Robben, Huntelaar. No surprise to see the Dutch taking a more positive approach with vd Vaart and Huntelaar both starting. Link to comment

spamspamspam
4-2-3-1 perhaps. I think they'll have Huntelaar and vP both up front. They'll switch it around a bit but with those 2 both in the team they'll be looking to attack from the off. Link to comment
OddJob
Surprised at Germany only making the 1 change - which has been forced too - as i thought Gotze might have possibly started and even Gomez rested. Link to comment

Well they haven't qualified yet so I guess they want to make sure. Gomez may come off early if things are going their way. Link to comment
StandFree1982
Far abouts is the Germany v Denmark game? Tried hitting red button but fuck all happening... edit - Found it (ITV4!) Link to comment
tutankamun
Permutations of this group (from the Beeb): Germany - will qualify with a win or a draw. They will also go through with a 3-2 defeat, or a higher-scoring one-goal loss. They're out if Portugal beat the Netherlands, but through if the Portuguese do not claim three points. Denmark - a win sees them qualify. A draw will only be enough if Netherlands beat Portugal. Lose, and they're out. Netherlands - only a win will do, and even that might not be enough. They have to win by more than one goal and hope Germany beat Denmark. Portugal (ie. the complicated one) - a win secures qualification unless Denmark beat Germany 3-2, or by a higher-scoring one-goal margin. They'll go through with a draw if Denmark do not beat Germany. A one-goal defeat would still see them through if Germany beat Denmark, but if it is by any more they are out. Link to comment

spamspamspam
Looks like its going to be some night... Portugal losing 1-0 but still qualify at the moment. Holland score 1 more then they qualify Denmark claw one back and then they go through. Link to comment

NorthernLights24
Still waiting for the first 0-0 of the tournament. It is also remarkable how few penalties and red cards there have been so far and the one penalty and two red cards all occurred in the first match as well. Link to comment
