Stoney
Anybody else getting a bit fucked off with all the smoke and mirrors from the SPL Chairmen, all the "statements" being released on an almost daily basis saying.............well nothing in particular, Motherwell being the latest to throw there hat into the sitting firmly on the fence ring and release a statment which could have been sumed up in 7 words "we are scared to make a decision" when lets be honest we have known for 4 or more weeks that this was coming down to a vote, the chairmen have probably been thinking about how they will vote since this circus kicked off, infact probably thought of nothing more and most will have probably come to the conclusion that they will vote yes or no. What else have they had to think about..........so. Go and do us all a favour and either come and say Yes or No or shut the fuck up and give us a rest with these bull shit press statments, the decision has been made, so go and do us all a favour and let us know if you have a set of testicals or if you are a quivering pussy. Also i think the vote should be televised 12 men round a table, cards out on the table and 100% tranparancy - no complaints, also all the chairmen should write there answer down so no minds can be changed due to them having the casting vote and bottling it at the last minute. Seriously cannot be fucked with another 2 weeks of this saying heaps but saying nothing shite. 4 Link to comment

Ke1t
If there was bollock one between the lot of them, or even the merest shred of self-respect, or a single atom of their being that cared about sporting integrity then they would have made their position clear by now. No to an SPL Newco. It's complicated, says Celtic. No it isn't. Link to comment

dj_bollocks
I was hoping for maybe a Britain's got talent style vote - where the Huns perform a little dance on the stage, or plead their case and the remaining SPL Chairmen use their buzzers to tell the huns to GTF... Maybe some other humiliation... Dragon's Den perhaps, where they pitch up their business plan and get told... "I'm out" - anything else ? Link to comment

sheepiekev
Can't be fucked with it either, it's pointless over analysing ever slight bit of news that comes out and what it means even though we all do it. Wish I was jetting off somewhere for a couple of weeks holiday then coming back to it. Far rather be discussing the Dons signings or lack of. OK......WTF is happening with Jonny Hayes?... Bobby Connor
OK......WTF is happening with Jonny Hayes?...Was chatting to my next door neighbour (in the offices) about this. He reckons Hayes is a massive wind up merchant. Could be true or false. Link to comment

Wish I was jetting off somewhere for a couple of weeks holiday then coming back to it. Far rather be discussing the Dons signings or lack of. I feel the same way. All this conjecture means nothing until the day of the meeting. Chairmen/clubs can say what they like until then, but it all comes down to who's got the bollocks to vote 'No' when they're called to vote. Incidentally, does anyone actually any further details regarding the ballot/vote? Will it be anonymous? I'd imagine Sevco will be hoping this is the case! Link to comment
Stoney
Dunno what would be best, Annonomys vote might mean chairman arnt feart to vote them out, but then again if the vote is 9-3 for newco there will always be a suspicion that we voted yes. Only fair way to do to it and put this shite to bed is full disclosure, i have a feeling this isnt going to stop after the vote. There will no doubt be another appeal to go through. Im still unsure as to why its going to take two weeks, this has already been done to death, lets get it over and done with, im sure all parties would rather know now. Link to comment

I just want to find out ASAP if the cunts are in or oot. The club's can't possibly need to examine the figures of them being in/out of the league anymore because they'd had the best part of 4 months to prepare for worst case scenario(in the media's eyes) of Rangers/Sevco/Cunts FC not being in the league. This is a mind fuck of epic proportions, the sooner it's finished the better. Link to comment

RUL
The thing is, the clubs own the league. They could call a meeting at any point, the 14 days is a regulation which can be ignored. It's obvious the clubs have no idea what they are doing, they are hoping to wing it Link to comment

SkyeDon
Like many, I really cannot see why there's so much doubt. Rules are rules - "no to newco." It should be as simple as that. The thing is, they think they've been treated badly, this has gone on for nearly half a year. Christ. Link to comment
K-9
Just a thought and might be way off mark....but All this cloak and dagger stuff - if the vote was heading towards a clear no to newco then there would be no need for chairmen to keep that to themselves. In fact the opposite - they would be costing their clubs money as they are trying to flog season tickets. The only fear for the chairmen would be Rangers fans boycotts but if heading to no vote then wouldn't matter at all. Makes me think vote heading to yes or running close with the chairmen putting out carefully worded statements not wanting to upset their own fans nor "Rangers" fans. Had more than enough time to come to decisions and should be pretty much decided by now, so why the cloak and dagger stuff still? Link to comment

V for Vendetta
I still think they big issue isn't what way they vote its whether Green goes through with it. I think Green is going to try and have his cake and eat it. ie he wants to transfer the share which is only possible if they are the "same club" but different owning company but he also wants to claim they are a new club and not associated with any of the wrong doing that has yet to be punished (but will). Once he lays that out and he is told its not possible then he'll have a tough decision to make. Does he lay claim to being the same club and accept punishments OR does he deny all association (losing history completely) but get a clean slate. I don't believe he can have both but I think this is what he will try. I agree with what Stoney has said though. The SPL claim this is the minimum period permitted within the rules but they do talk a lot of shite so who knows. If it is stipulated in the rules there has to be this notice for such a meeting and decision then they will stick to it or risk legal action. Link to comment
spamspamspam
The clubs are probably hoping that something happens which takes this "difficult" decision out of their hands. Thats quickly becoming my take on it as well. Its almost daily that there is more accusations of jiggery pokery with Rangers over the last 15 years and now there's the whole admin sale of assets etc as well. I think the SPL chairmen have a feeling this is all going to blow up so much that there isn't a choice to make anymore as there will not be a club to take to task/make a decision on. Link to comment
