I think the same time any female black comedian is on telly.

Must be about filling some sort of demographic requirement.

Only possible explanation.

Any female comedian on telly.

This is not to say there aren't any funny female comedians, but the current crop are shit. That flabby Sarah Milligan, she only has about two jokes. There is that Nigerian comedian, she's not funny either. She screams a lot in a put on nigerian accent pretending to be her mother...that's about the only thing she does. The rest....meh.. There was that pretty Iranian girl who was on Live at the Apollo who was quite funny.

I just wish they would allow decent female comedians to appear on TV, someone who won't talk about being fat, shit husbands/boyfriends and looking after kids.

But they're fuckin hilarious compared to Lenny Henry.

I've yet to hear a comedian who is funny.

The whole term 'comedian' is dripping in irony.

See 'Comedy Dave' of BBC1's 'alternative' Euro 2012 commentary for evidence.

Jerry Sadowitz is the funniest stand-up I've seen...think he'd appeal to you tup

Look up Oxymoron and you'll find Comedy Dave is used as an example.

I ken what oxymoron means ffs min.

But I say all comedians are by their very nature unfunny.

And a lot of them tend to be posh, or, become posh after they get lauded by posh folk.

Like that wanker Billy Connolly for instance, and his abhorrent wife.

She is dreadful. She was just rising to prominence just when I was leaving the UK. I assume she's not improved over the past couple of years.

A dose of aids, the bad kind, is funnier than Lenny 'The only work I can get now is charity work and promoting cheap hotels' Henry.

I just love how it's an accepted universal truth that Lenny Henry is the absolute benchmark for being totally fucking unfunny in every conceivable way

They were well suited, she's second only to him in the totally fucking unfunny in every conceivable way stakes.

Bet it was a laugh a minute at the dinner table though, both specialising in unfunny banter, but both so ignorant of their lack of humour that they'd be in tears of canned laughter, constantly.

Bet she liked her denners too.

I've watched comedians who were unfunny... and I agree Lenny Henry is as funny as working on a children's cancer ward... (that means not funny, in case of ambiguity) but this Jack Whitehall dude was Carlos Mencia unfunny.

The crowd was primarily Americans, and they like pretty basic humour.. nothing too difficult that you have to think about... but even they were looking uneasily at each other wondering if they were missing something.

I just wanted to cry.

Stewart Lee is a good shout...

..but the man who stands head and shoulders above them all, and in my opinion twice the comedian of the massively overrated George Carlin, is Doug Stanhope.

David Cross is pretty good too, though he's becoming less funny and more Hollywood... just like Eddie Izzard. Still funny on their day, but noticeably less funny than they were.

Jack Whitehall just seems to be representative of British comedians these days... not funny in the slightest.
