Jones
That's a pretty savage story but 100k to fly her back to Scotland, that's mental no? Anyway hope they get there. Link to comment
Tommy
Without being callous, should they not have organised travel insurance ? Link to comment
vanderark14
Without being callous, should they not have organised travel insurance ? they went there for treatment. During this time the illness got a lot worse meaning she cannot fly on a commercial flight. I doubt very much they would have been given travel insurance for her before she flew Link to comment

Sheep#1
Yes, I agree that they were worthless fat cunts. I don't really think that you can have a go at athem for not donating to every cause tgat you think they should. It's like when people say "there's children starving in Africa". Yes, sadly you are right but it's not fucking relevant, and if I related everything in my life to these dying kids then there's not going to be much else that gets done. Obviously they can't donate to every cause going, but think things that are close to home like this would strike a chord. Link to comment

Poodler
Thing is she's never going to get better. Must have no quality of life. It's a bit like a guinea pig being flown around the world? I donated anyway Link to comment

I donated anyway Its so she can be flown home to be with her family as i think hope of a cure is gone. Also the Richard Branson story is not totally true as the route he offered was not considered viable or something like that. Terrorfex
Glad to hear they've almost got it sorted out. Hopefully they get her back home soon. The medical team which authorised a child with end-stage cancer to fly around the world, only for her to "unexpectedly" worsen have a few pertinent questions to answer, I'd think. Link to comment

Jones
'We're grateful, but we want to be left alone'. Now I understand this completely, but I think they should have put a longer piece about being grateful. I'm glad the lassie is home and I can appreciate they want privacy but lets be honest, those people you're grateful to just got your daughter home. If it was me, and I know I'd have my daughter on my mind - but I have put a longer emotional piece about people helping me. That's the only bit about the article I didn't like. I hope the little girl receives a miracle that happens from time to time and pulls through - all in all, glad she is back where she is from and not stuck in a foreign country! This better?
