I thought i was hearing helicopters buzzing around more than normal. But i do stay next to the hospital so that fucking air ambulance near takes the roof of at least once a day.

Apparently been air lifted to Raigmore. That is incredible. Seen the speed that they bomb about at? Fingers crossed for them.

@alextomo The crash is believed to have occurred near the Beatrice oilfield, around 25 miles south of Wick.

At the moment I'm nowhere near it min.

 

But I did hear Wick lifeboat was out looking.

I'm on the Beatrice platform, the crash happened pretty close by. They sent the 2 Eric boats which we to transport people to the neighbouring platforms and for over the side work to help with the search and rescue, I've not seen or heard anything else yet. It has been very foggy here.

Sad to hear one of the recovered pilots has died. The two missing pilots still are. Missing. And search and rescue ops have been called off for now.
