I'd fuck Mensch.

Johnson was quite right to tell Rotten to shut the fuck up. Seems to have wound his neck in now.

She just admitted to being a paranoid loony after snorting coke as a youngster. Stay away.

Finally Rotten is shown up for the idiot he is. Hated the guy for years. Should never be back on a telly again after this.

Ruined the show for me.

I sat down for the first time in many a year to watch this because of JR. What a drop, the guy was appalling, seemingly always looking for a round of applause from the audience for his amazingly incisive and witty 'observations'.

What particularly tickled me, was his piece on UK citizenship, and the 'entry quiz'. Apparently what makes you British is our inclusiveness, diversity and tolerance. He then went on to ask how 'England' ended up with Brown as PM, when there's no chance of an Englishman being PM in Scotland. What a total hypocritical gype he showed himself to be.

John Lydon has always been a little strange. He had seriously bad meningitis as a kid, and that inevitably affected how his brain functions.

When you see him interviewed one on one, when he's not trying to be sarcastic, defensive or clever, he's a standup guy. When he's in a situation where there's input from people he may not like, or may not like him (and that's maybe 99% of people who still see him as Johhny Rotten... a name he ditched about 34 years ago) he becomes surly and acts like a tosser. No two ways about that.

Despite that, the guy makes music worth listening to, and was at the forefront of the movement that finally overturned the shit, middle of the road, safe, flaky piss that masqueraded as music in the 70s.

THIS was a fairly typical number 1 in the UK when the Pistols came on the scene. Enjoy, if you can. Go on... enjoy it.

Thank the baby fucking Jesus for the Pistols....

And later he would go on to kick arse with one of the greatest bands in the history of everything, Public Image Limited....

Sorry but I have to take you to task on your video choice.

Forever & Ever was a number 1 record but back in 1973, The Pistols formulated late 75 early 76 nearly 3 years later so there was a whole heap more MOR shit kicking about until McLaren & Strummer rocked up.

Forever and Ever still gets played in the Winters household as it is timeless but then again so does PIL. One of my best experiences was pogoing to Public Image at the Capitol until somebody gobbed on Rotten, who became an arse and walked off.

Just like the Stone Roses some things are never the same so Rotten should go eat his butter and fuck off

But I will give him credit for World Destruction with Afrika Bambaattaa

One Direction are a modern day Sex Pistols - jist another boyband.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to take you to task... Forever and Ever was number 1 in Britain in 1976, around the time the Pistols formed, as I accurately mentioned :checkit:

I was at that concert, if you're talking about the 'Album' tour... someone threw what I believe was a can at the guitarist and cut his hand, prompting Lydon's disgust and subsequent departure.

Lydon should indeed fuck off, back to the recording studio to make some more kick ass music
