RedTilDead1903
First time post here, and the topic is one which could admittedly be seen as optimistic to say the least, but bear with me. So, I think it's safe to say that the vast majority, if not all, of the bloggers on here will agree that the Rangers Newco deserve to be placed back in the 3rd Division (if they even deserve that, but that's a matter for another time). The problem that the SPL clubs face is quite clearly a financial one, and Doncaster/Reagan have spent long enough spouting the facts and figures of sponsorship losses if Newco were to be placed in SFL3. These forums are a great way for real fans to have open debate, and they exist for all SPL clubs. There is an opportunity now, I feel, to join together with other forum sites - this has to be the first time that fan opinion across all clubs barring Castle Greyskull is united - and use the power of fanbase to encourage a boycott of sponsors if they do indeed withdraw their funding. Whether this means closing accounts at Clydesdale or stopping buying Carling (although that shouldn't be difficult), we can make a public show of solidarity and make a difference. All it takes is one of these sponsors to make a big deal of saying 'we could have withdrawn our sponsorship, but have listened to our loyal consumer base etc etc', and the ball is rolling. We're talking about an accumulative 65-70,000 members here (half of that Celtic), who could quite easily be joined by a significantly larger figure once the statement and boycott was made public. There would be no shortage of interest in a story such as this from the Dailys. Again, I realise that this would be an unprecedented and far fetched idea, but then what is this Rangers fiasco if not that. Take away the one thing that is stopping these SPL clubs doing what they want to do - punish Rangers to a fair extent, without the very real possibility of sending themselves into administration by doing so. spamspamspam
Boycotts are what they do. We discuss and make our feelings known by writing nice letters. The only things I will do is I'll never attend a game that included sevco nor will I ever go to a Scotland game again if the SFA force this through. I know a lot of TA members that are doing the same. 1 Link to comment

spamspamspam
So you're boycotting games then? Wouldnt call it a boycott, only went to selective games in the first place and I'll still by my Scotland tops etc... A boycott would be never buying anything that would give the SFA a penny So hud at ye cheeky mare  Link to comment
