Trying to get some info on organisations such as trading standards and who should be emailed, but it seems to be locally based. Was wondering if there was some national organistion. This would be on the basis that many SPL clubs have sold thousands of season tickets off the back of statements about upholding sporting integrity. Surely it cannot be right that some of them then turn around and approve proposals to allow restructing of the SPL in order to bypass the current rules (i.e. sporting integrity) It is not a defence to say "oh but we never said anything about Division 1". This cannot happen without the agreement of at least some of the 7 clubs who issued statements. So something fishy is going on. Link to comment
Ernie McCracken
Email to AFC sent to feedback@afc.co.uk and duncanf@afc.co.uk Dear Sirs, I refer to the current situation in Scottish football, and am pleased to note AFC's previous statements indicating that Newco Rangers should apply to Division 3. Unfortunately this is not enough. I am dismayed by the clubs silence over attempts to have them introduced to Division 1 in conjunction with restructuring of the SPL. Surely the proposals being put forward cannot be implemented without the agreement of the SPL member clubs? If AFC are truly against this, and not just paying lip service to fans, then you should issue a further statement calling for Mr Doncaster's resignation, and identifying all SPL clubs who support the measures. Clearly a number of SPL clubs have sold season tickets as a result of statements about upholding sporting integrity. Their fans deserve to know if they are being lied to. Now is not the time for niceties, as our game teeters on the brink with corruption in public view for all to see. Why stay silent? Unless of course AFC secretly want this Division 1 stitch up to succeed? Name and shame! It is the only option left. Regards Link to comment
ericblack4boss
it's been stated on P and B forum that FIFA wants fuck all to do with the Sevco in Div One, if true then we will have to pin hopes on Uefa. Link to comment
