Yeah if we knew they'd both stay fit then we don't need Reynolds & could use the wage that must be set aside for him for a more exciting forward player but that would be a massive gamble given that it's unlikely that Anderson will stay fit.

 

 

I just hope that Anderson plays more that two thirds of our season cos he will be the difference between another 9th placed finish & a VERY good season

I thought Osbourne looked very comfortable once he was put out to right back to deal with Samaras. The hairy Greek didn't have a sniff after that. I'd be very happy with that as a settled back four.

Exactly.

Just cos Jack is used there at Scotland U21 level doesn't mean that's his position.

I want to see him in midfield battling to keep others out of that position, rather than being surplus & used as a RB.

 

 

Naismith(excuse spelling) Considine, Anderson & Osbourne (with BROWN behind them) is our best back line/defense & that is what should be played until injuries, or suspensions FORCE otherwise.

 

A settled defense that will give the other side of our game a bit of freedom to be creative & be exciting is a huge weapon for us & SHOULD be used as much as possible

Well he did kinda change that today post match, he said he would like another player, which sounds a lot more hopeful than what he said after we signed Naysmith, which was we will be lucky to sign another player.

We also obviously have a wage available for Reynolds, as in the same as we were paying him last season but seen as his team has been promoted & his wage has doubled, his club are wanting a bigger wage by his loan club but we cannot obviously afford that big a wage.

 

But there IS a wage there so we CAN get another player in at some point once the decision on Reynolds has been made one way or the other.

Think Brown will rotate Osbourne and Jack depending on which Winger/Player is out there... Proved yesterday when Jack started there but then got changed because it was only Samaras out there.

 

Anderson was outstanding and hopefully he will stay fit and forms a solid defence. :thumbs:

I personally think he has already performed better than I was expecting. I was gutted when Russell left although I did wory his return would be a mistake.........thankfully that has not been the case.
