Cocket Hat for lunch today. Its a Toby Carvery. Hadnt been to that building for over 20 years and hadnt been to a carvery for 2/3/4 years. Wife suggested it when we were in toon and I didnt fancy anything there. She was at an Xmas lunch there last week. It was outstanding. And incredibly cheap. Highly recommend. As good as it gets.

I had the beef and gammon. Don’t dig on stuffing. The Yorkshire was fine. Veg was good. Gravy hot and tasty too. Couldn’t fault it.

Had a bit of a dark chocolate toblerone with my lunch today. Not a big chocolate man but this was amazing, perfect with a cup of tea. Highly recommended.
