The squad is looking good.

In an ideal world;

 

Jason Brown takes the huff, leaves, we sign a keeper.

Up front, Paton is put out on loan, along with Megginson maybe - we replace them with a decent striker. Giving us Vernon, Fallon, McGinn, A N Other.

 

As I say, that's ideal world.

 

If nothing else happens, we cannot complain. Squad is as good as it has been in a good few years.

2nd should be a realistic and achievable target.

 

Note to Craig Brown - Go for the throat from minute 1!!!

"Ideal world" would be Fallon, Clark and Lanfield being shipped out for token fees and a good keeper plus a proper left winger brought in.

 

Not going to happen though.

 

I think we have to be realistic and realise this is a good squad and we probably can't afford to add more numbers. Almost no chance of moving out the people we'd need to trim to improve things now.
