The crowd at the Motherwell game will be pish.

 

Bad enough it being 12:45pm on a Sunday but Liverpool v Man Utd is on at the same time.

And with it being Sunday, along with the Hearts game this weekend, that's two home games I'll miss already. Vastly reducing the cost effectiveness of my season ticket.

I agree that lunchtime kick offs are shite - the atmosphere at 3pm KO's is bad enough, but the lunchtime ones everyone seems even more lethargic.

But if folk stay away from Pittodrie because they'd rather watch Liverpool v Man Utd, that would suggest to me they are not really big Aberdeen fans, don't you think?

On the positive side of things these games would never have been televised last season with dead rangers still on the go so at least it gives us a little exposure if nothing else.

This is the exact reason why Scottish Football is fucked.

 

We are competing with one of the biggest leagues in the world on our doorstep. Not only is it on our doorstep taking our players for pennies it is on our TV's almost daily.

 

Funny, you don't see so many Arsenalor Liverpool tops anymore and there does seem to be a lot more Man City fans popping up....honestly can't think why this is.
