Yeah, it's normally January. Good though IMO, everyone in the festive spirit rather than depressed after Christmas and New Year.

Is there not a mini winter break in January, meaning they need to squeeze in a round of the cup in December?

Yes there is. Sort of. We play on 2nd January (Wednesday) and then don't play again until 19th January.

 

Basically we have two free Saturdays.
