Following on from reading about Harcus winning a trip to Ibiza......what's the best thing you've ever won?

 

 

For me it would have to be a 4 day trip to New York for the 94 World Cup, all expenses paid and a top hotel plus tickets to the Ireland v Norway game. Won it through filling in a Guiness competition beermat, "The Republic of Ireland are a team of pure genius because.........................I put....................... they're smooth, cool and keep their head under pressure"

 

Also won Scotland v Morrocco tickets through the EE in 98.

a mate won two tickets to the final.

Actually met up with a few of them for some beers, nice chaps, the game was in St Etienne, not a place I'd go back too in a hurry, bit of a dump. Don't recall too much though as it was a nightime kick off and I was wrecked after being on the beer from 7am in Paris.

I've never won anything But the wife tends to win fish....... She won a box o haddock in a raffle and also won a years supply (52) fish suppers from the Ashvale. Ever time she went in she had to face the newspaper cuttings on the wall of her pretending to eat a fish supper

I have won a couple of cup competitions as manager, but still waiting on the league.
