V for Vendetta
I think there would be no harm waiting until January then opening negotiations on a 1 year extension. He's on a great run of form but what happens then the run comes to an end? How the lad will react at that point is important. I'd sooner we sorted out Frasers contract first. Link to comment
ericblack4boss
i have'nt seen him in the flesh yet but that will hopefully change on saturday! but for me the best finisher in my lifetime would be Shearer, yeah i know McDougall was up there too but i'l take big Dunc mainly becasue ofb the quality of defence he had to beat, he had the likes of Goram, Gough, Stubbs, etc to score past Mcdougall had the star names of McCloy, Nicky Walker, Paterson, Munro, Tom McAdam, Pierce O'Leary, Hugh Burns, to beat Link to comment
barassie_afc
I think the reason Mcginn is shining and is a better option than Vernon, is because he has great technique and is a good ball striker, Vernon isnt , good problem to have Link to comment
buchanskii
The Northsound Commentator was saying he was being a nuisance as well and chasing, working hard. The sort of forward defenders hate playing against. Anyone at the game able to confirm this? Link to comment

ChutneyLove
If he was playing for Hibs or Hearts he would be due a 3 million move somewhere by now. How come their players always get vastly overrated and they get tidy returns on them? Pricks. Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
There is no doubt in my mind that McGinn is going to see out his 2 year contract here then leave on a bosman to go back to Celtic! And when/if he does, I am going to do my very best to wish him all the best if he plays like this for the next year and a half! Hope it doesn't happen though Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
Thing is, if he stayed with us and continued to progress he could become a true Club legend with Aberdeen. The truth is he'll probably see out his contract here, head back to the Tims, stagnate and end up at some nonsense team like Peterborough or Barnsley. Football Link to comment

Niall McGinn was quick to dispel any doubt that he may move in this transfer window by stating that he solely intends to see out the remainder of his 2 year contract at Aberdeen and by doing so to nip any rumour-mongering in the bud. Good enough for me. Link to comment

dj_bollocks
I think if the club sold him now there'd be a fucking riot... with me at the front of the queue.... First goal machine in 20 years and we sell him after 4 months. You'd have fans burning their scarves and season tickets in the street. Worst PR move AFC would ever do.... 1 Link to comment
