The project isn't just about reviewing history. The goal is to drive home three key lessons on dealing with today's nuclear threats in such countries as Iran, North Korea and India/Pakistan. - Nuclear Armageddon can happen. In 1962, the world was closer to nuclear war than the public has ever known. - Nuclear Armageddon is possible even if no one wants it, because the pressure to attack first can drive leaders and governments to make decisions that seem unthinkable. - The world must eliminate all nuclear weapons. Organizers hope everyone from global leaders and policymakers, to the general public and especially younger generations become engaged in the project. could it really ever happen again? would any world leader ever let it get this close again? There is nothing like Global Conflict to get Economies moving, the bigger the conflict the better.Mankind is overdue a cull, the last one being 70 yrs ago,and before that The Great War and The Spanish Flu of 1918.We used to have good old fashioned set to's on a fairly regular basis with a liberal sprinkling of fatal epidemics and pestilence to help things along and now things have gone quiet, too quiet. We are all in the Doldrums and what better wind to fill your sails than the wind of an Nuclear Storm, there's no point in spending a fortune tooling yourself up if you never intend to use them.
