Hopefully it's a great success and they stay there.I remember mentioning a couple of years back the club should have even a wee stall, in Union Square in the build up to Christmas. There were something like 2 kazillion visitors through the door in December and if every person spent even £1 etc etc. I think it should sell match tickets also. edit - just saw the above re tickets Link to comment

tightbreeks
it's good stuff. they could advertise pop up shops in academy's main hall in the weeks before christmas, inverurie and further out in the north east. take a lot of stock, two or more vans back and forth from the warehouse? i'll sort their logistics out, shoppers get to feel the heft of the gear. i'll be logistics flight squadron leader. V for Vendetta
Seems a sensible move to me. I wonder if they can justify keeping it open year round - will be interesting to see. Link to comment
OddJob
This is great news, but don't understand the location of it. Why the Academy? Do many folk shop in there? Link to comment
Foster14
This is great news, but don't understand the location of it. Why the Academy? Do many folk shop in there? I'd assume the Academy had empty unit(s) that they were wiling to give a good deal to on a tenant (especially one which may attract more people through the doors in general. The Bon Accord and Union Square probably wouldn't want to do that, since both are close to, or at capacity, and get plenty people through the door anyway. It is definitely a step up on Bridge Street location wise. Not a place many would walk by and go in on the off chance. Link to comment
