sheepiekev
Having seen the highlights confirm one thing I thought after yesterday, and contradicts another As I've always thought, Josh Magennis is not and never will be a right back. Who plays at RB for the U-20's?It was nowhere near a penalty against Anderson in the 90th minute - I thought at the time we were lucky, we weren't, not even close to a penalty. As an aside, a lot of McGinn's goals have come from him timing his run into the penalty box or six yard area perfectly Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
I give credit to Clangers for his contribution to those three points. Not so much for the Doyle save, as that was pretty easy but all the same More so for the Griffith save that he got around the post (which is a weakness of his) & the Griffith overhead kick But I have to say, he still showed some of his weaknesses in those highlights also, for instance griffith should never have had the chance of striking the overhead kick, as Clangers should have had it in his hands long before. Also he put a save out to open play again (his major weakness other than kicking & his near post) but luckily it was an incomming defender that headed the ball back to him this time. Well done though this time for keeping us in the game & helping bring a massive three points Link to comment
Tommy
Oooft well done Clangers! That wasn't Razor that was down at the front celebrating McGinn's goal as he ran past was it? It sure was. Fuck the rangers then, fuck the rangers now, fuck the rangers forever. Link to comment

sheepiekev
All the reports were of it being fairly one sided...to hibs? It was fairly one-sided to HibsTheir keeper barely had a save to make (can't quite recall where that familiar phrase came from?)Still....there was 3 x 0-0's at home we had earlier in the season against Ross County, Hearts & St Mirren where we dominated but didn't win - part paybackTake Leigh Griffiths out their team and they'll be lucky to be top 6 Link to comment

His goals have saved us, or gained us 6 points.Feck knows where Hibs would be as Griffiths has scored 13 I think Link to comment

In fact, it's no coincidence that since he has turned up, Vernon has been hoop. Mmmm, and here I was thinking he was some kind of strikers coach messiah. Link to comment
SkyeDon
McGinn's first touch was absolutely class, brilliant skill from a brilliant player. 1 Link to comment

First is taking a throw and creating the chance for Mcginn. Second is an absolutely perfect cross from the touchline which mcginn should have done much better with. Third (not sure why osbourne doesnt make an effort to win the header) But covers hibs player, stops him getting the cross and and stops the run into the box, forces him to play the ball back, langfailed comes to punch and totally misses everything Forth Osbourne and Magennis do a great job of forcing hibs out wide, Griffin gets a lucky break but anderson is never in any trouble Fifth shows hibs played down the line and leaves it for the covering man to deal with. Gets back onto marking his man and hibs are forced to shoot from range. Also mention chris clark in this, i slagged him off when he came back......back hes been playing well this season, and is at the start of every decent move on the highlights, also great work at the start of the goal. Looking at the highlights we played well and hibs were never in danger of scoring. 1 1 Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
I noticed that with Clark as well. Clearly more settled in the middle than out wide. Not convinced by any stretch of the imagination but an adequate deek young esque bench filler especially when our game play seems to be to defend a point from the first minute and when our established mids esp Rae and even Ozzie look as though 90 minutes is starting to get beyond them. barassie_afc
standard stops from langfied aside, what the fxck is he doing when he comes out for a cross ball, utterly hopeless, mcginn as I have said before it technically superb, which is why he is flourishing, fallon should have scored also Link to comment
